 Jeff Bond conducted his first Yukon field season in 1994 and earned a master's degree in geomorphology from the University of Alberta in 1997. He embarked on a career with the Yukon Geological Survey, serving as the Territory's surficial geologist and subsequently as a placer geologist from 1997 to 2023. Throughout his career, he cataloged nearly every placer deposit in Yukon and emerged as a leading authority on alluvial gold. Jeff's mission at the Yukon Geological Survey was straightforward: to deliver the finest public service achievable. Upon departing from the Yukon Government, Jeff established Mammoth Terrain Inc., a company specializing in geological services and exploration. In 2024, his daughter Sofia Bond came aboard after obtaining her Bachelor of Science in geology from the University of Calgary. Together, they launched BONDPLACER, leveraging their unparalleled expertise in trusted placer gold opportunities.
