Sixtymile River and tributary
This property encompasses the main stem of the Sixtymile River and one tributary. It includes 131 placer creek claims for a total of 1217 hectares. Road access needs to be constructed to the property and there is no previous production on the claims. The water license and mining land use permit is currently in renewal. The Sixtymile River has produced over 300,000 ounces since it's discovery in the 1890's. Tributaries to Fiftymile Creek have had recent production.
The claims
This property follows the main stem of the lower Sixtymile River and includes the tributary Fiftymile Creek. The floodplain is incised into an older surface containing bench gravel. Placer gold potential can be found along the floodplain and on the benches. Deposits are generally shallow. Due diligence exploration by interested parties is recommended on the property to evaluate its potential.
